Maitri – What does it mean

Maitri – pronounced (mytri) though in Liverpool it is fondly pronounced (maytree) is taken from the Sanskrit and Hindi language and translates as benevolence, loving kindness or very simply friend.

We are very proud that many of the people who walk through our door as clients and patients become friends and become part of our community.

Maitri – The Community

Maitri works alongside KB Holistic & Wellbeing CIC Ltd (company reg 14111466) this is a not for profit organisation which offers wellbeing and alternative therapies to those in the community who do not have easy access to services.

As well as therapies KB Holistic & Wellbeing offers community support via events a Carers Drop in and a Bereavement Café working alongside other community groups.
