Maitri is in the heart of the community in Wavertree Village, the sign for the village is right outside our door!
As such we are keen to work with and help our community as much as possible.
In 2022 the team behind Maitri founded the not for profit organisation KB Holistic & Wellbeing – with the purpose of offering support and wellbeing to those that don’t always have access to therapies for a variety of reasons.
On Mondays in collaboration with Vibe Liverpool – we host a Carers Drop in for all those who care for someone – giving the opportunity to relax and talk, as well as get advice regarding support and accessing services.
The Carers Drop in is every Monday 11am – 3pm
On Tuesdays we work alongside trained counsellors and have a Bereavement Café – a drop in that allows anyone affected by any loss to sit and have a chat in a non-judgemental environment being supported by the attendees.
The Bereavement Café is every Tuesday 4pm – 7pm
We offer a variety of Alternative Therapies but are always open to bringing new treatments into our portfolio – just let us know if you would like us to offer any treatment not named in our Services section.
MAITRI IS BASED IN THE FABRIC DISTRICT INSIDE THE FASHION HUB ON GILDART STREET, LIVERPOOL, L3 8ET.
IF YOU COME INTO THE BUILDING ONE OF TEAM WILL MEET YOU AND TAKE YOU UP TO THE SALON – WHEN THE MAIN CAFE IS CLOSED ENTRANCE IS GAINED VIA THE SIDE ENTRANCE.
WHILST THERE IS NO ON-SITE PARKING THERE IS METERED PARKING ON THE SURROUNDING STREETS AND CAR PARKS WITHIN A FEW MINUTES WALK.

Maitri is based in the Fabric District inside The Fashion Hub on Gildart Street, Liverpool, L3 8ET.
If you come into the building one of team will meet you and take you up to the salon – when the main cafe is closed entrance is gained via the side entrance.
Whilst there is no on-site parking there is metered parking on the surrounding streets and car parks within a few minutes walk.
